A Voluntary Humanitarian Organisation
The Tibetan Friendship Group is a non-political, non-profit voluntary humanitarian organisation assisting Tibetan refugees in India since 1969.

The Tibetan Friendship Group provides many educational sponsorships for children, Nuns and Monks, support for needy older people & the people with a disability.  Our sponsors assist a centre, school libraries, two hospitals, TB & AIDS care and prevention programs and provide materials for villagers to build latrines & more.

The T.F.G is composed of volunteers meeting in their own homes.  Overheads are held to the barest essentials.  All our leaflets are prepared by Committee members.  To cover the few administrative costs such as printing, postage and bank fees, fund raising functions are held and your donations are sought.

Hospitals & Clinics
In a refugee community in a poor country, people have lower resistance to diseases and far less knowledge of how they are passed on.

The Dept of Health of the CTA has implemented major health education programmes, which your donations support.

Both Gampopa Clinic, darjeeling and Delek Hospital Dharamsala have prevention and ongoing care programs for TB, Hepatitis and AIDS.

The children keep on coming

Over 1,000 children alone arrive in India from Tibet each year.  The overloaded Tibetan administration must find funds for their education, health and care.  The Tibetan Government-in-Exile's Department of Education and the Tibetan Children's Village have schools and hostels throughout India.  We need sponsors for students of all ages. Please click here to sponsor.
